Match preview

Leicester are bottom of the Premiership without a point after two rounds while Gloucester are among those setting the pace at the top, and the Tigers' fortunes may not be ready to turn yet.

The first few Leicester players are beginning to return from World Cup action. Tonga's Telusa Veainu starts at full-back while Fiji's Sione Kalamafoni, on the bench last week, will be at number eight and new signing Tomas Lavanini is on the bench.

But there's still a wealth of talent missing and Gloucester should feel little fear heading to Welford Road. Their half-back pairing of Joe Simpson and Danny Cipriani have really clicked in the opening two rounds and their pack includes two former Tigers in Fraser Balmain and Ed Slater.

The Cherry & Whites were clinical in their 25-9 victory over a strong Wasps side last week and have shown a sharpness that Leicester have lacked.

The Tigers will be up for the fight after back-to-back defeats but Gloucester can take advantage of the absences in the opposition line-up.

Cardiff v Munster

Where to watch

Match preview

Cardiff have lost their way since an opening-round victory against the Kings with three straight defeats but they can get back on track against a much-changed Munster side.

The Blues have gone down by single-figure margins in their last three matches, at Ulster and Glasgow and at home to Edinburgh.

But they pushed Ulster as the game wore on last time out and will look for a strong start after shipping early points in their last two defeats.

They should get their chance as Munster make 11 changes to their team from last week's victory over the Ospreys including a new half-back pairing of Alby Mathewson and JJ Hanrahan.
