Gallagher Premiership predictions

What a final day it promises to be in the Premiership, with five teams situated between second and sixth in the standings separated by as many points and all still capable of finishing in the top four playoff places.

Leaders Bath have already wrapped up top spot and, after winning last Friday's European Challenge Cup final, have chosen to rest their big names with an eye on next Friday's home semi-final against still-to-be-confirmed opponents.

That scenario should work out for hosts Saracens, who look likely to record a big win in Alex Goode's final home game, but will it be enough?

Sarries sit sixth on 51 points, the same total as fifth-placed Gloucester, who are at home to deflated Northampton.

The Saints have also rung the changes after their Champions Cup final loss to Bordeaux, while second-placed Leicester have a plum tie at home to bottom club Newcastle.

The Falcons have lost their last two away trips by a combined 83 points, so the Tigers should seal second place and are backed to win while giving away a 39-point start.

Third and fourth also have winnable fixtures. Sale in third head to Devon looking to defeat an Exeter team who have had a terrible season but the side to watch could be fourth-placed Bristol.

They host Harlequins, who have lacked any consistency this campaign and while they beat Exeter in their last game, struggled for fluency and are without fly-half Marcus Smith for their trip to Ashton Gate.

Defensive failings have again plagued them and they could be in trouble against a Bears team whose wingers Gabriel Ibitoye and Kalaveti Ravouvou have each made 28 clean breaks in 2024-25.

Ibitoye has 11 tries to Ravouvou's ten and both can go over to help their team extend their season into June.

Expect drama galore across the country, although how the table stands on Saturday morning may not be too different from how it sits at 5.15pm.
