Sky Sports Action, 10.45am Saturday

Back the Waratahs to build on their worthy win over Australian Conference leaders the Rebels with a success by seven points or more over the Sharks.

Curtis Rona on the wing is the only Tahs starting-team change from last Saturday's 23-20 win at the SCG and this stability should help their cause against the Durban-franchise, who will run out at the Bankwest Stadium bidding to avoid a third-straight defeat and are enduring a strangely topsy-turvy campaign.

The Tahs have also had some shockers this season but they are the only team to have beaten the champion Crusaders so far and they have also beaten longest-standing domestic rivals the Reds in Sydney.

Recommendation
Waratahs -6
1pt 10-11 general

Hurricanes v Chiefs
Sky Sports Action, 8.35am Saturday

The Barrett brothers and Ardie Savea return to the Hurricanes team after being rested for last Friday's scrape past the Sunwolves in Tokyo so it is no surprise to see the Canes being asked by bookmakers to give up 11-points to the the Chiefs back in Wellington.

The Canes have won 11 of their last 13 outings at the Westcap and the Chiefs' three-game winning run, after a shocking start to the season, was ended by the Lions in Hamilton last week.

However, the better-value bet looks to be the Canes to enjoy a narrow victory.

The Canes have only enjoyed single-figure margin triumphs over the Stormers and Highlanders in the Cake Tin this term and before their victories over the Blues, Jaguares and Bulls, the Chiefs held the Hurricanes to a 23-23 draw in the Waikato in round five.

The Chiefs have also not lost by 13 points or more in the six meetings since their 2016 semi-final loss to the Hurricanes.

Recommendation
Hurricanes to win by one to 12 points
1pt 23-10 bet365
