England's odds cut after victory over 14-man Argentina
Rugby World Cup news
England became the first team to qualify for the knockout stage of the Rugby World Cup with a 39-10 victory over Argentina and they have been cut from 9-2 to 4-1 to lift the trophy.
But it wasn't the most convincing performance from Eddie Jones's side, who played more than an hour against 14 men.
Argentina lock Tomas Lavanini was shown a red card after 17 minutes for a high challenge on Owen Farrell.
England were leading 5-3 at that stage but it took them a while to make their numerical advantage count until Elliot Daly and Ben Youngs each claimed a try in the final five minutes of the first half.
Three more tries followed after the break while Matias Moroni claimed a consolation for the Pumas but England still looked a little aimless at times in difficult conditions.
The defeat for Argentina confirmed their pool-stage exit while England have a week to prepare for their final fixture against France on Saturday. The early handicap line is set at nine points in England's favour.
