South Africa sealed the Rugby Championship with a hugely impressive 46-13 victory in Salta last weekend, but coach Rassie Erasmus has made a raft of changes for this rematch in Pretoria.

This match doesn't have that competitive edge and Pumas coach Mario Ledesma has taken a similar approach in bringing in some squad players.

Springboks fly-half Handre Pollard had a stormer last week, scoring 31 of his side's points, but Elton Jantjies, a more creative player compared to Pollard's physical approach, gets the nod at number ten this time.

Also given a start is Northampton scrum-half Cobus Reinach, who proved a try-scoring sensation for the Saints in the Premiership last season and could be worth backing to carry his scoring touch on to the international stage.

A tally of 17 tries in 2018-19 is pretty impressive for a scrum-half and Reinach has shown himself to be sharp around the pitch, picking up numerous interceptions and showing good awareness to support runners.

This could be an open contest at altitude on the Highveld as Argentina look to break a run of eight consecutive defeats. The Pumas have scored no more than 17 points in each of their last seven games but a fresh backline may take a few more chances and leave opportunities for Reinach to pounce.

C Reinach to score a try
