Racing 92 methodically took apart their Parisian rivals Stade Francais in the first leg of their European Champions Cup last-16 tie and, with a healthy 13-point advantage in hand, they can afford to relax a little.

Racing weren't at their free-flowing best in the reverse fixture, scoring just one try as they leant heavily on the boot of Nolann Le Garrec for 17 of their 22 points.

Their track record this season suggests that blunt performance was a blip as only Clermont (574) have scored more points than Racing's 545 in the Top 14 and while they had also amassed the third-highest points tally in the Champions Cup going into this weekend's action.

Racing may well have broken Stade's spirits in the first leg and they won't be relishing the trip to their opponents’ La Defense Arena, having lost 53-20 on their last visit. Stade were also comfortably beaten in their two previous European away days this season.

Racing have named an attacking line-up for the game with Gael Fickou, Juan Imhoff and Teddy Thomas among the backs. The trio are all short prices to get over the whitewash so preference is for Wenceslas Lauret in the anytime-tryscorer market.

The veteran flanker has developed a taste for the try line, going over eight times this season and grabbing a brace in Racing's last game against Stade.
