Premiership final predictions
Bath have blazed a trail all the way to the Premiership final, topping the regular-season table with 14 wins from 18 games and the most points and tries of any team.
However, they were forced to put in a different kind of performance against Bristol in the semi-finals, relying more on structure and process than attacking flair, and it looks like a repeat of that will be needed against Leicester at Twickenham.
Bristol threw their all-out attack at Bath last week at the Rec and took a 13-6 lead , and it fell to Bath to try to slow the game down and impose some order to gain the upper hand.
That was just what they did and the strength of their bench made a big impact as they closed out a 34-20 success.
Leicester don't have that same all-court game and attacking ambition that Bristol presented, and they will look to the physical power of their pack and the kicking game of fly-half Handre Pollard to lead the way.
Bath are around nine-point handicap favourites and they failed to cover the line in just three of 15 games they started as favourites this season - a surprise home defeat to Bristol in round three and narrower wins home and away to Exeter.
The Tigers can't claim that kind of consistency but have put in some of their best performances as underdogs, winning matches at Bristol, Northampton and Saracens when they didn't need their handicap start.
These teams met just a month ago at the Rec, where Bath ran out 43-15 winners against a strong Leicester side, scoring seven tries to two.
But it was a closer battle when the teams met at Welford Road in round two and Bath claimed a 20-15 success. Bath have the greater attacking threat and the strength of their bench may be the deciding factor, but a hard-fought clash looks on the cards and a narrow Bath win could be the best bet.
