Glasgow beat Munster 37-10 when the sides met at Scotstoun last September and they went on to win all ten Pro14 Conference A home games before losing to Scarlets in the semi-final.

However, it should be a lot closer this time and the visiting Red Army, also last-four losers, are taken to stay within eight points.

The Warriors won a ding-dong battle at Connacht 27-26 on Saturday and while their attack was excellent, their defence was ill-disciplined and porous and they were grateful when Craig Ronaldson's long-range injury-time penalty hit the post and bounced away. Munster were precise and powerful in blowing away the Cheetahs 38-0 after a focused start at Thomond Park.

Ulster can give up three points to Edinburgh to make it back-to-back Belfast wins.

They did not score a try against Scarlets on Saturday but they ground out a worthy 15-13 success with May's runners-up picking up two yellow cards as their hosts ramped up the pressure.

Trips to the Liberty Stadium and Kingspan Stadium is a tough start for Edinburgh and Ospreys had moved into a comfortable lead when Blair Kinghorn crossed for Richard Cockerill's charges.
