Match preview

The fallout from Saracens being found guilty of breaching the Premiership salary cap looks sure to make this rematch of last season's final an ultra-high intensity encounter.

Exeter chairman Tony Rowe was among the most vociferous critics of the champions, claiming Sarries had won their crowns - their last three at the expense of Exeter in the final - unfairly and calling for them to be relegated.

Both sets of players are sure to be stoked to the maximum and bookmakers rate Saracens, bottom of the table due to their points deduction but the best-performing club with five wins out of six - the narrowest of favourites.

Exeter claimed the honours in this fixture comfortably last season, winning 31-13 a year and a week ago to end Sarries' 22-match unbeaten run.

But, unlike last season's final, which saw a try in the first minute and another eight after that, this is set to be a close-fought and cagey affair. Both sides are so well drilled that defences look set to be on top.

Going under the total tries line looks the best approach, and the 14-1 about the scores being level at half-time is surely also worth chancing.
