Conditions likely to lead to low score in Sydney
Hurricanes v Highlanders
Sky Sports 3, 6.35am Saturday
The Highlanders are yet to hit their straps this season but an 11-point start from the Hurricanes at the Westpac could prove big.
The ’Landers scraped a 16-12 win at the Blues last week after home defeats to the Chiefs and Crusaders and they have won on five of their last seven trips to Wellington, including the 2015 final, losing only 27-20 in the Kiwi capital last year.
After two strolls against the Sunwolves and Rebels, the champion Canes came a cropper against the Chiefs in Hamilton and, while the visitors from the tip of the South Island are without their first-choice fly-half Lima Sopoaga, ace All Blacks Aaron and Ben Smith both start.
Recommendation
Highlanders +11
