Brumbies v Sharks: match preview, TV details & tipping
In-form Brumbies look a cut above at Canberra stronghold
TV: Sky Sports Action, 11.05am Saturday
The Brumbies have lost their last two Super Rugby eliminators - to the Hurricanes in 2017 and Highlanders the year before, both at home - but they should find a clash with the inconsistent Sharks a more straightforward passage to the semi-finals.
The Canberra outfit have won their last six matches, and all seven home matches in this campaign since an opening-round defeat to the Rebels.
The Sharks earned their place in the playoffs thanks to a 12-9 victory over the Stormers last week in a horrible game littered with errors.
The Durban side lacked any kind of cutting edge until they finally held together a multi-phase attack with the clock in the red, and they look distinctly second-best to a Brumbies attack who have garnered 30 tries in their last six games.
The Sharks have not won back-to-back matches since the opening two rounds and their Australian hosts should cover a six-point handicap with ease.
Recommendation
Brumbies -6
3pts 10-11 general
