Rebels v Crusaders
Sky Sports 3, 10.45am
New Zealand teams have lorded it over their Australian rivals in this Super Rugby campaign so when table-topping Canterbury Crusaders take their 100 per cent record to Melbourne and face a Rebels side with one win to their name, handicaps in the mid-20s make perfect sense.

The Crusaders have made ten changes to the team who edged the Chiefs last week but they have looked simply unstoppable and a convincing win is on the cards.

Among the changes to the line-up All Blacks winger Israel Dagg returns from injury and he is sure to be keen to make an impression.

Recommendation
I Dagg to score a try

Bulls v Hurricanes
Sky Sports Mix, 2.05pm
The Wellington Hurricanes are the top scorers in Super Rugby as last week’s nine-try blitz of the Cheetahs took their points total to 483 but they may struggle to cut loose against the Bulls in Pretoria.

The Bulls shipped 62 points at home to the Crusaders at the start of the month but were tighter against the Highlanders the following week, losing 17-10, while their previous two home games featured 34 and 39 points.

The Canes edged it 17-13 the last time the teams met at this venue and points lines in the 50s could be too high.

Recommendation
Under 58.5 points

Sharks v Stormers
Sky Sports Mix, 4.15pm
Both these teams are in the playoff mix and South African teams have a month-long break after this round of fixtures so it has the makings of an entertaining derby clash.

The Sharks are two-point handicap favourites and are undefeated on home soil this year.

The Stormers’ win over the Blues last week ended a run of four defeats but they may find a more focused Sharks defence, who have shipped 12, nine, 13, 14 and 17 points in their home matches, harder to break down.

Recommendation
Sharks -2

Los Jaguares v Brumbies
Sky Sports 1, 10.40pm
Los Jaguares have been a tough side to nail down all season but the return of fly-half Nicolas Sanchez could bring a bit more structure to their game as they face the Brumbies for the first time.

The Australian side beat the Kings in Port Elizabeth last week but made hard work of it and this looks a tougher physical test.

Los Jaguares have been hard to trust this year but they have had a bye week after two shaky performances and the time to reflect may have sharpened them.

Recommendation
Los Jaguares to win by one to 12 points
