The British & Irish Lions are a best-priced 4-11 to make history at Sydney's Accor Stadium on Saturday by completing a 3-0 series win against Australia.

The Lions last secured a clean sweep with a 4-0 series win in Argentina in 1927, and Andy Farrell’s men have a chance to replicate that feat this weekend.

The Lions go into this game after a bruising and thrilling second Test in Melbourne, where the tourists triumphed 29-26 thanks to a last-gasp try from Hugo Keenan.

Despite the physical nature of that encounter at the MCG, and amid speculation that other players could be given a start with the series secured, Farrell has made just two changes to his starting side for the final match against the Wallabies.

Blair Kinghorn replaces James Lowe on the left wing, while James Ryan comes into the second row at the expense of Ollie Chessum, who drops to the bench.

The wounded Wallabies are 11-4 to salvage some pride, with the handicap set at a general eight points in the Lions' favour, which is a couple of points lower than for the second Test.

Australia head coach Joe Schmidt has admitted it was tough to pick up his side this week after they blew an 18-point lead in Melbourne to lose the second Test in heartbreaking fashion.

Australia flanker Rob Valetini, a colossal figure in the first half of that game, will miss the final Test due to a calf injury.

He is replaced by Tom Hooper, while tighthead prop Taniela Tupou adds his sizeable frame to the Wallabies’ front row.

Veteran Nic White has confirmed he will be retiring from international rugby after Saturday’s game and the experienced scrum-half earns a starting role alongside fly-half Tom Lynagh.

There is one other change to the Wallabies' starting backline, with Harry Potter dropping out due to injury and Dylan Pietsch replacing him on the wing.

Back-rower Carlo Tizzano, who was involved in the ruck at the end of the second Test involving Lions flanker Jac Morgan, has been left out of the squad.

Schmidt has taken the decision to take Tizzano out of the spotlight after his dramatic reaction to a clearout by Morgan which was deemed legal by officials, before Keenan slid over for the series-winning try.
