Bristol v Harlequins match preview

Harlequins pipped Premiership leaders Exeter with a last-minute penalty try at the Stoop last week but their luck may run out at Bristol on Sunday afternoon.

That was just a second win in six fixtures for Quins, who have shipped 20 tries in that run.

They have scored 17 themselves, but gained only one try-bonus point and they are up against a solid Bristol defence who have conceded no more than two tries in eight of their 12 matches.

Quins have won just one of five away games this season and have failed to stay within the handicap in four of their five defeats.

Bristol have suffered just one defeat at home and are on a run of four successive victories, although five of their seven wins in this campaign have been by six or fewer points.

That makes an eight-point handicap look unattractive against a side with Harlequins' cutting edge in attack, so a victory by no more than 12 points looks the best bet.
