Two teams whose records look almost the exact opposite of each other's meet at the Rec, and Leicester look set for a win over old rivals Bath.

The Tigers' long winning streak came to an end with two defeats in January, but they have responded with back-to-back bonus-point wins culminating in last week's East Midlands derby success over Northampton.

Bath started the campaign with ten straight losses before they finally got off the mark with wins over Worcester and Harlequins in January. But their last two outings have been heavy defeats, in which they have shipped a total of 81 points and 12 tries.

Yes those reverses came against in-form opponents Saracens and Wasps, but table-topping Leicester are in that bracket too, and with players of the calibre of Nemani Nadolo, Richard Wigglesworth and Jasper Wiese to call on in the absence of their internationals, the Tigers should prove too strong for a callow Bath side.

There's more experience up front for Bath, who welcomed back Wales flanker Taulupe Faletau against Wasps, and they did stay close in their defeat in Coventry last week before going down to 13 men in the last ten minutes and shipping three tries.

But wet and windy conditions look set to play into the hands of Leicester's powerful pack and the kicking game of scrum-half Wigglesworth. The handicap is set at nine points but a double-figure margin looks a tall order if the weather is a factor so an away win by up to 12 points looks best.
