Match preview

Australia were dealt another blow despite opening their Rugby Championship campaign with a win as fly-half Quade Cooper picked up an injury in their 41-26 success over Argentina last week.

Cooper's loss came a day after Wallabies captain Michael Hooper returned home while key centre Samu Kerevi had already been ruled out.

Yet under David Rennie Australia appear to be building in strength and confidence, and the selection of James O'Connor at fly-half to replace Cooper looks a positive move.

Argentina led at half-time last week but were let down by poor discipline, something head coach Michael Cheika will surely have stressed heavily throughout the week.

However, there was also a disjointed look to much of the Pumas' play and although the final 15-point margin looks harsh after their performance, they should find the Wallabies tougher opponents this week having caught them a little cold in the opener.

Bookmakers have reduced the handicap slightly from last week, asking the Wallabies to give up four or five points, and that looks well within their compass.
