In-form Hull FC had already made one successful trip to the south of France to take on Catalans Dragons in 2019 and the Black & Whites could come away with another two points from their latest Betfred Super league dust-up with the Frenchmen.

It'll be the fourth meeting between the sides this year with Hull winning twice and Catalans once. And there has been a real mixed bag of results.

Hull won April's league clash 31-30 courtesy of a golden-point winner from Marc Sneyd before the Dragons got their own back with a 37-6 victory at the KCom Stadium just three weeks later.

The third installment saw Lee Radford's men take their revenge with a 51-8 at the same venue to end Catalans' defence of the Coral Challenge Cup.

The French side will be keen to avoid a third defeat to the Airlie Birds and they have the added incentive of being able to leapfrog the Yorkshiremen into third place on the league ladder.

Bookmakers think they can and make them narrow favourites for victory but it may pay to back an away win.

Hull are 12-5 to win by no more than two converted tries and that looks a touch of value with the injuries piling up for Dragons coach Steve McNamara.

Sam Moa and Micky McIlorum return for the home side but Greg Bird, Kenny Edwards, Brayden Wiliame, Lewis Tierney, Matt Whitley, Lucas Albert and Lambert Belmas are all missing and Jason Baitieri is suspended.

Hull welcome back Sika Manu, Josh Griffin and Josh Bowden and they could give highflying Hull the edge.

Catalans lost at home to London last week and looked tired having played on the road for almost a month and a virtual full-strength Hull side can take advantage.

Recommendation
Hull to win by one to 12 points
