Wigan Warriors vs Catalans Dragons predictions

Wigan Warriors should extend their winning record against Catalans Dragons to six matches when the teams meet in the Super League on Friday night.

The Cherry and Whites have not been at their usual consistent best in recent weeks, but the absences of key players have hit them hard.

Even after three defeats in five matches, Wigan are only four points behind league leaders Hull Kingston Rovers, so there will be no panic in the sheds at the Brick Community Stadium.

Another game at home will boost morale, as will the visit of Catalans, who are now planning for the future. They unveiled former Wigan ace Joel Tomkins as their new coach on a permanent basis until the end of the 2027 season this week, but the Dragons showed no signs of improvement during his interim spell in charge.

Catalans' squad downed tools weeks ago and they were hammered 48-0 by Wigan in Round 12. Wigan may not be able to have the same success, but they are better than their French opponents in every department and they should get their season back on track this week.
