Wigan and Hull FC are yet to be beaten in the Betfred Super League this season and neither will want to give up their unbeaten records when they meet at the DW Stadium on Thursday.

Hull dropped a point in a 14-14 draw with Warrington Wolves a fortnight ago but having seen off Wakefield, Salford and Huddersfield, Brett Hodgson's men pitch up in fine fettle.

Wigan have also begun the season in decent nick, winning their opening four fixtures.

The Warriors are determined to go one better this season after finishing as runners-up to St Helens in last season's Grand Final and this fixture represents their toughest test so far in 2021.

The Warriors have dominated the pair's previous two meetings - winning 29-2 and 36-4 - but prior to that the sides had been involved in some tight affairs with Wigan running out winners by just 14, one, two, four, 14, and eight points, while there was a 23-22 win for Hull at this venue sandwiched in among those results, and this could be another close contest.

The pair have each conceded just 42 points from their opening four matches and will relish the chance to flex their muscles against a fellow Grand Final contender.

Bookmakers make Wigan odds-on favourites but the Black & Whites are handed an eight-point start on the match handicap and that could be the best bet in what promises to be an enthralling encounter.
