Betfred Super League title hopefuls Hull FC were dealt a reality check by champions St Helens last week and another stiff examination awaits the Airlie Birds at Wigan, but they may be up to the test.

Having begun the season by dominating Leeds and winning the Hull derby, hopes were high on the west side of Hull that they would announce themselves as Old Trafford contenders against the Saints. They led 6-2 at half-time but the visitors were full value for their 32-18 success.
