Leeds Rhinos have been unstoppable since returning from a four-week hiatus in the Betfred Super League and now they get the chance to topple league-leaders Catalans Dragons.
The Rhinos played just one game between the end of May and the end of June due to Covid protocol cancellations but since their return to action on June 27 they haven't looked back, winning all three matches including last Monday's surprise 22-16 win at in-form Warrington.
Fresh legs have helped Leeds enormously as injuries have piled up but the spirit shown in the Wire win was there for all to see.
If they can produce a similar performance they have every chance of slaying the Dragons, who have been ruthless on their way to the top.
However, only Warrington have seen off the French raiders this season and it will take something special for Leeds to stop a Catalans side aiming to win their fourth away game on the bounce.
Steve McNamara's men have been lightly-raced recently, playing just two games in four weeks and that should give them the edge in what look set to be a thrilling contest.
Friday's other contest sees champions St Helens head to Wakefield in what looks a more routine encounter.
Saints got back to winning ways with a derby win over Wigan last time out and they can continue their good form in a fixture which they have dominated, winning on each of the last eight occasions.
