Last year's beaten Betfred Super League finalists Catalans are falling off the title pace and are reeling from from a 36-10 defeat to Warrington at Magic Weekend last Sunday.

Salford, by contrast, have been on the up and although they were well beaten by Huddersfield on Tyneside last week they weren't far off the pace and have been excellent at home this season, where they have won their last three league outings.

The Red Devils are six-point underdogs but Catalans have won just one of their last four matches away from the south of France and the hosts are worth siding with.

Sunday's other match is a battle between struggling duo Hull KR and Wakefield, who are at a low ebb after defeat to bottom side Toulouse last week extended their poor run to nine losses in 11 matches.

Rovers aren't in great form either having lost their last three outings. They are eight-point favourites with home advantage but both sides are difficult to trust at the moment.
