St Helens are just one of the sides with Grand Final designs

Kick-off 3pm Sunday

The regular season of the Betfred Super League draws to a close on Sunday afternoon as Wakefield host St Helens.

One of the favourites for a bottom-four finish, Trinity have defied all expectations this term to lie fourth in the standings before the competition splits into two at the end of round 23.

Holding on to fourth place and making the playoff semi-finals in two months time will be a tough ask, however, with a number of established Super League forces queuing up to usurp them.

St Helens are just one of the sides with designs on earning a shot at the Grand Final and victory at Belle Vue would put the Saints only one point behind Wakefield heading into the Super 8s.

The visitors have steadily improved since new coach Justin Holbrook took the reins and they are taken to continue their progress.
