Betfred Super League predictions

Hull Kingston Rovers have not lost back-to-back matches since May 2024  and it is that consistency that they will lean on as they try to battle past Leigh Leopards in Super League on Saturday.

The league leaders were beaten 14-8 by Leeds Rhinos last Sunday in what was only their second defeat of the season. Willie Peters' team had won 11 games in a row before that setback, but they have what it takes to bounce back at the first attempt.

However, any success they have on Sunday at the Leigh Sports Village will have to be hard-earned. The Leopards beat Wigan Warriors 18-8 in their last match and they will look to their home crowd to help get them over the line.

Leigh have been solid in attack all season but they have had issues against Hull KR for the last two seasons. The Robins have won the last six meetings between the pair and they have not conceded a point in the previous three head-to-head meetings.

While Hull KR will be without halfback Mikey Lewis this weekend, Leigh full-back David Armstrong has been ruled out for the rest of the season, so no team has an advantage in that department.

Another tense and bruising affair is expected, but the Robins have shown under Peters that they can quickly get back on track.

Later in the day, Catalans Dragons host Warrington Wolves in a game that is tough to call.

Only four points separate the teams in the table. Warrington have been inconsistent of late under Sam Burgess, while Catalans' squad have not looked to be on the same page for months so it is better to opt for a watching brief and see how the action unfolds in Perpignan.
