Improving Leeds should stay in touch on trip to leaders

When Leeds made their last trip to the Kcom Stadium in August they were a week away from a Challenge Cup final appearance and sitting pretty at the top of the Super 8s table while Hull were propping up the pile.

What a difference a year makes – now the Black & Whites are at the Super League summit with a Ladbrokes Challenge Cup semi-final on the horizon and the Rhinos are bottom of the table.

A bottom-four finish is now guaranteed for the champions but they have been showing some signs of improvement in the past few weeks and they beat tonight’s opponents 20-18 when they clashed at Headingley in March.
