Hull Kingston Rovers vs Leeds Rhinos predictions

Only the Wigan Warriors have beaten Hull Kingston Rovers in the last calendar year and that record should remain intact when the Robins welcome Leeds Rhinos to Craven Park in the Betfred Super League on Sunday.

The Robins started Round 17 with a four-point cushion over Wigan Warriors, but the Cherry & Whites lost 18-8 to Leigh Leopards on Friday and Willie Peters' side will now be desperate to extend their advantage.

Hull KR cannot afford to overlook a Leeds team who have won four of their last five games to move into the top four and Brad Arthur's side pushed them all the way in Round Nine before falling to a 20-14 defeat.

The hosts have dominated through the middle of the park all season, but their forwards will be put through their paces by Leeds' monstrous pack.

Peters' men have conceded only 132 points in 16 games and that resolute defence can once again get them out of trouble. 

The Robins have been clinical when it counts this term and they should be able to cover the handicap against a Rhinos team who conceded 30 points against Leigh Leopards last week.
