Hull FC vs Wigan Warriors predictions
Revenge could be on the agenda when Wigan head to Hull FC on Sunday.
The Airlie Birds ended the Warriors' Challenge Cup defence with a 26-22 win in the fourth round but Matt Peet's side have already triumphed 46-4 at the MKM Stadium in 2025 and another win looks likely.
Wigan lost at Leeds the week after their cup exit but have since won their last three, most recently beating St Helens 24-14 on Good Friday.
Hull had another derby day to forget as they went down 28-14 to KR, after also seeing their Challenge Cup run ended 32-16 by the Robins in the quarter-finals.
Although the Black & Whites have struggled against their neighbours, there looks to be a chance of returning to the playoffs for the first time since 2020.
However, their home form is appalling. They have lost to Wigan and to Hull KR twice, and drawn with Leigh thanks to Lewis Martin's 79th-minute try before the pair could not be split in extra time.
It's incredible to think that as well as outlasting the Warriors in the cup, Hull have won at Catalans, Huddersfield, Wakefield, Castleford and Warrington but are still to triumph at home and Wigan can saunter away to another victory.
Key to that could be Jai Field, who has scored ten Super League tries in 2025, including a hat-trick in February's win at the MKM Stadium.
The Australian also crossed twice against Saints and dotted down in his team's 28-12 win at KR on April 11, so combining a Field try with a Wigan win looks a decent play.
