Hull FC vs Huddersfield Giants predictions

A maximum of two points has settled the last two games between Hull FC and Huddersfield Giants, but Saturday's encounter at the MKM Stadium should end in a comfortable victory for the hosts.

The Black & Whites went into Round 20 in the sixth and final playoff spot thanks to their 32-12 victory over Wigan Warriors on the road last week.

John Cartwright's team need to improve their fortunes at home, having lost five of their last six at the MKM Stadium, but they have fallen short against St Helens, Wigan and Hull Kingston Rovers, who should all compete in the playoffs this season.

After winning twice in three outings, Huddersfield thought they were making ground, but two heavy defeats to Wigan and Wakefield Trinity have set them back.

Hull have conceded 13, 10 and 12 points in their last three matches and if they can back up their display against Wigan, they should outclass a Huddersfield side who have won only three times all year.

Hull can welcome back Sam Eseh, Amir Bourouh, Liam Watts and Will Gardiner for this match, while Huddersfield have lost Niall Evalds for the season due to a calf injury and the gulf in class should be apparent from the first whistle.
