Hull can rise to challenge and claim Wembley place

Wigan v Hull | BBC2, 7.30pm

A Challenge Cup tie between Wigan and Hull evokes memories of the best and worst Wembley showpieces and the neutrals will be hoping tonight’s eagerly awaited semi-final is more the like the 1985 all-time classic than the turgid tussle of 2013.

Wigan were victorious on both those occasions and despite Warriors coach Shaun Wane insisting his team are underdogs, bookmakers have installed his men as favourites to reach the final for the third time in six years.
