Gallen can help Blues avoid series whitewash

State of Origin is back in Sydney for game three with New South Wales defeated in the series but the beleaguered Blues may have something to smile about following this morning’s ANZ Stadium clash.

It’s just one series win in 11 for NSW who have shown plenty of fight in the opening two games before coming up just short.

History is on their side, though, as there hasn’t been a series whitewash since Queensland’s 3-0 romp in 2008.
