Sunday's Betfred Super League predictions

Warrington Wolves are back in action in the Betfred Super League just a week after securing their Challenge Cup final spot and they are going to have to be at their best to win at Daryl Powell's Wakefield Trinity on Sunday.

Wakefield enjoyed a week's rest and will be fresh and raring to go and Powell will be fired up as he tries to beat his former club.

Trinity have won five of their ten games, but they have played with no fear throughout the season. Warrington have had to battle a huge injury crisis in recent weeks, and there's every chance they start slowly.

Warrington's threadbare squad outclassed Leigh, but Wakefield are likely to make the better start inside the first 40 minutes and they can cover the first-half handicap against a Wire team that have lost three of their last five.

Wakefield's last win came against Castleford at Magic Weekend, but the Tigers should bounce back against cash-strapped Salford Red Devils.

The Tigers have lost six on the spin, but their experienced and powerful pack should be able to steer them to victory.

Salford's off-field issues have been well-documented this season and they have not scored more than ten points in five consecutive Super League matches. Castleford should ease to just their third win of the campaign and cover a handicap of 14 points in the process.
