Sunday's Betfred Super League predictions

Wakefield are exceeding expectations on their return to Super League and they can push their playoff hopes with a win over top-six rivals Leigh.

The Leopards have already won at Wakey this season but their form has dipped since and Trinity can continue their good run of form at home.

Wakefield start the weekend in seventh spot but they are in striking distance of the top six, while Leigh sit comfortably in fourth.

This promises to be a tight clash which could swing either way and the home side are the narrowest of favourites but they are fancied to land a rare win over the Leopards.

Wakefield have won their last three home league matches, scoring 125 points in the process, and they can overcome a Leigh side who have won on each of their last four visits to Belle Vue.

In Sunday's other match St Helens head to bottom side Salford Red Devils but the game looks best left alone from a punting perspective.

Saints should win easily – it was 82-0 when they last met in round one – and a 38-point handicap indicates that another one-sided clash is likely.
