Leigh Leopards vs Hull FC predictions

Leigh Leopards will look to add to Hull FC’s recent woes when the two sides go toe-to-toe in Thursday night’s Super League showdown at Leigh Sports Village.

The Airlie Birds enjoyed an impressive start to the season but four consecutive Super League defeats at the hands of Hull KR, Wigan Warriors, Huddersfield Giants and Leeds Rhinos have seen John Cartwright’s side sink down the table.

Occupying seventh place in the standings, the Black & Whites will be desperate to stop the rot but it will be far from easy when they head across the Pennines to face Leigh.

The Leopards have had their own dip in form, losing their last two outings against Warrington Wolves in the semi-finals of the Challenge Cup and Wigan in the Super League.

However, both those games were on the road and, back in the home comforts of Leigh Sports Village, the Leopards will be tough to stop on Thursday.

Leigh have lost only two of their last 16 home games in Super League, making Leigh Sports Village one of the toughest venues for visiting teams in the competition.

Hull FC lost 28-16 and 42-12 in their last two visits to Leigh and the Leopards look capable of showing their claws again on Thursday to fall on the right side of the handicap.
