Redknapp fancied to keep Birmingham in Championship
Former Spurs boss takes over from Zola
Birmingham have called on Harry Redknapp to preserve their Sky Bet Championship status after Gianfranco Zola resigned as Blues manager on Monday.
Former West Ham and Tottenham boss Redknapp will step in for the final three games of the season with the St Andrews outfit three points ahead of the second-tier drop zone.
He is 1-6 with Hills to keep them up while they are 4-1 with Sky Bet to fall through the trap door. Redknapp's first match will be Sunday's clash at arch-rivals Aston Villa on Sunday.
The Blues then face Huddersfield at home before a trip to Bristol City.
Championship relegation best prices: 1-33 Wigan, 8-13 Blackburn, 4 Nottingham Forest, Birmingham, 20 Burton, 40 bar.
