Recharged France have the players to push Springboks

South Africa ring changes after disastrous 2016

France celebrate victory over Wales

The Springboks and Les Bleus have been moving in different directions and although both coaches have named much-changed line-ups, it’s worth chancing France to stay within a nine-point margin.

South Africa had a 2016 to forget, winning just four of 12 Tests, but France picked up under Guy Noves in the Six Nations after years of decline.

France are without their Clermont and Toulon players following last week’s Top 14 final and face testing conditions at altitude in Pretoria.

But they have rediscovered their attacking flair and have the players to break through a much-changed Springbok defensive line.
