West Indies welcome back some of their biggest stars to the fold on Wednesday as they begin the limited-overs leg of their tour of Britain and Ireland in Belfast.

Chris Gayle and Marlon Samuels return for a one-off ODI against Ireland and bookmakers believe those two players in particular will make a impact.

Gayle is 2-1 favourite and Samuels 9-2 to top score for the Windies, who are just 1-4 to warm up for Saturday's T20 against England at Durham with victory. Ireland are a 3-1 chance.

However those stars may have to play second fiddle to Shai Hope who has been in tremendous touch over the past fortnight.

After becoming the first man to score two centuries in a first-class match at Headingley, Hope was the standout performer in the Windies third-Test defeat at Lord's, scoring a second-innings fifty.

The Irish attack should pose less of a threat than England's and he could continue his fine form in the 50-over game.
