Southampton begin the Ralph Hasenhuttl era in Cardiff with Saints fans hopeful that the Austrian can reinvigorate their ailing fortunes.

Hasenhuttl has a reputation for high-tempo, offensive football and while he may have spent his first few days addressing one of the top flight’s worst defences, he will have been encouraged by the endeavour his new side showed in matches against Manchester Untied and Tottenham last week.

Both teams have scored in each of the Saints’ last five league games and the 10-11 about them extending that sequence looks generous.

Recommendation
Both teams to score
