Frank Lampard's winless start to life as Chelsea manager continued as his side were held to a 1-1 draw by Leicester at Stamford Bridge and they are now out to 5-2 for a top-four finish after just two games of the Premier League season.

Chelsea, beaten 4-0 by Manchester United last weekend before losing the Uefa Super Cup on penalties to Liverpool in midweek, went ahead through Mason Mount's seventh-minute effort and led at half-time.

But Leicester roared back after the break when Wilfred Ndidi headed home a James Maddison corner. The Foxes had opportunities to pull off the comeback as Maddison blazed over from close range and Jamie Vardy also had a chance to win it late in the contest.

That result leaves Chelsea 15th in the Premier League standings and heaps pressure on Lampard, who is 13-5 with Coral to not see out the season. The Blues are out to 90-1 to win the title while Leicester are into 4-1 to finish in the top six.

Earlier in the day, Sheffield United gained their first win since sealing promotion as they beat Crystal Palace 1-0 at Bramall Lane.

The Blades were favourites to be relegated at the start of the season but are out to 13-10 for the drop. Newcastle, who lost 3-1 against Norwich on Saturday, are now favourites to go down while Palace are into 11-4 after a winless start to the campaign.
