Bournemouth v Liverpool

Team news

Bournemouth
Adam Smith (ankle), Steve Cook (broken wrist) and Joshua King (hamstring) are out and Harry Wilson cannot face his parent club.

Liverpool
Alisson returns from suspension but Joel Matip, Fabinho and Nathaniel Clyne are injured.

Verdict

Liverpool have been drawn into a lot of tight matches and they look opposable at long odds-on prices to beat Bournemouth.

Seven of the Reds' last nine league wins were by a single goal and they haven't won by two goals or more on their league travels since defeating Burnley 3-0 in August.

There is a skill to winning close games but it will be tougher for them without injured holding midfielder Fabinho.

Bournemouth have lost only two home games (one of them against Manchester City) and they look overpriced to take a point.

Key stat

Liverpool have not kept a clean sheet in their last 13 matches.

Tottenham v Burnley

Team news

Tottenham
Erik Lamela (hamstring) and Michel Vorm (calf) are out and Ben Davies (ankle) and Hugo Lloris (elbow) are long-term absentees.

Burnley
Ashley Barnes (groin) should feature but Johann Berg Gudmundsson is sidelined and Charlie Taylor, Ashley Westwood and Phil Bardsley are injury doubts.

Verdict

There were not many positives for Tottenham to take out of Wednesday's 2-1 loss at Manchester United but Dele Alli's equalising goal was sublime.

Alli's resurgence probably pre-dated Jose Mourinho's arrival, but he has sparkled under the Portuguese and looks an obvious threat to Burnley.

Few teams in the top flight are as uncomplicated as Burnley, who will look to defend in numbers and make the most of any set-pieces.

It could take a moment of magic to break them down and Alli looks in the mood to deliver.

Key stat

Dele Alli has scored four goals in his last three appearances.

Watford v Crystal Palace

Team news

Watford
Christian Kabasele and Roberto Pereyra (both hamstring) may return but Craig Dawson (head) is unavailable.

Crystal Palace
Max Meyer (illness), Scott Dann (ankle) and Gary Cahill (knee) are doubts. Mamadou Sakho is banned and Joel Ward (knee) and Patrick van Aanholt (hamstring) are injured.

Verdict

Confidence-shot Watford must try to look for positives and there was evidence of improvement when they lost 2-0 at Leicester on Wednesday.

The Hornets looked better for a change of shape from 5-3-2 to 4-2-3-1 and they were a threat on the counter-attack until falling behind to Jamie Vardy's second-half penalty.

They have scope to improve but it is hard to fancy them as favourites against Crystal Palace, even though the away side have a lot of absentees.

Neither side score many goals, so the draw looks a strong option.

Key stat

Crystal Palace's matches have featured 32 goals – the joint-lowest total in the division.
