Everton have been struggling for goals in the absence of Dominic Calvert-Lewin and they will need to tighten up at the back after they were brushed aside by Liverpool on Wednesday.

Four of Arsenal's last six matches have featured fewer than three goals and they have kept clean sheets in four of those games, so scores could be scarce at Goodison.

Everton central midfielder Allan picked up his second yellow card of the season in the 4-1 loss to Liverpool and his third may not be too far away.

The Toffees will be anxious not to get overrun in midfield and the Brazilian has committed 17 fouls this season, more than any other Everton player.
