International breaks are a dangerous time for struggling managers as many clubs view the two-week window as an ideal opportunity to change direction.

The November break comes at a bad time for Hasenhuttl, whose Southampton team are on a four-match losing sequence, but the Austrian will be particularly keen to cling to his job because the next two home games, against Watford and Norwich, offer an excellent chance of salvation.

Hasenhuttl tops the next-manager-to-go betting, just ahead of Arsenal boss Emery, who needs a swift turnaround after four league games without a win.

But both could stay in their positions beyond the time afforded to West Ham's beleaguered gaffer Manuel Pellegrini.

The Hammers have invested heavily in recent seasons and expected a push for European places. However, they are in danger of getting sucked into the relegation battle and patience in Pellegrini may run out if they suffer derby defeats at home to Tottenham and away to Chelsea in their upcoming fixtures.
