Chelsea to win

Chelsea dominated both of this month's EFL Cup semi-final matches against Tottenham, winning 2-0 at Stamford Bridge and 1-0 in north London, and should be too strong again.

Thomas Tuchel's side have won seven of eight London derbies this season and will be determined to get back to winning ways after going four games without a Premier League success.

Spurs boosted their top-four hopes with a dramatic 3-2 victory at Leicester on Wednesday but they have lost their last four meetings against the Blues and may suffer more derby despair.

Under 2.5 goals

Five of Chelsea's last six matches against Tottenham have generated fewer than three goals and the low-scoring trend looks set to continue.

Chelsea have an array of attacking talent, yet they have scored just eight goals in their last seven Premier League matches and may have to be patient against a Spurs defence reinforced by the returning Eric Dier.

Spurs can avoid a heavy defeat but they have failed to score in each of their last five matches against Chelsea and may struggle to find a way past Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Oliver Skipp to be booked

Oliver Skipp has added some extra steel to the Tottenham midfield with a series of robust and energetic performances and he looks a likely candidate to enter referee Paul Tierney's notebook.

While Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has curbed his aggressive instincts, avoiding any bookings this season, his midfield partner Skipp has been carded in six Premier League games.

The 21-year-old was booked in last September's 3-1 loss at Arsenal and could lose his cool in another feisty London derby.
