Team news

Chelsea
Romelu Lukaku, Timo Werner and Mateo Kovacic are out until after the international break. Mason Mount (illness) is in the squad but Marcos Alonso picked up an injury against Malmo and misses out.

Burnley
Dale Stephens is out and Wayne Hennessey is a doubt so Sean Dyche could stick with the starting 11 who beat Brentford last weekend.

Match preview

The injuries to Chelsea forwards Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner have not knocked the Premier League leaders off their stride and they are worth backing to claim a fifth 3-0 win of the season at home to Burnley.

Reece James scored twice in last weekend's 3-0 victory at Newcastle while his fellow wing-back Ben Chilwell has three goals in his last four appearances and Chelsea put seven past ten-man Norwich in their last home game.

Burnley are unlikely to crumble to quite that extent, having beaten Brentford 3-1 last time out for their first league win of the season.

However, breaking down Chelsea's defence will be a far tougher task for Sean Dyche's men. The Blues have conceded only once from open play in ten league matches this season and Burnley have already lost to nil away at Chelsea's main title rivals Liverpool and Manchester City.

Key stat

Seven of Chelsea's eight Premier League wins this season have been to nil.
