Porto can keep their title hopes alive at Braga

Time is running out for Porto in their push for the Portuguese title but they can increase the pressure on league leaders Benfica with victory at Braga.

Porto’s latest title triumph was four years ago and since then they have played second fiddle to Benfica. But with six games remaining there’s little to separate the sides and it’s evident the tussle is going down to the wire.

If Porto fail to clinch the title, they can count themselves pretty unfortunate. The Dragons have lost just once this season – at third-placed Sporting Lisbon – and boast the sharpest frontline and meanest defence in the division.

However, they draw too many games – seven this season – and were held by Benfica (1-1) on their most recent away outing.

But Braga, despite sitting fourth in the league, will provide an easier challenge and they have won only one of their last six matches on home soil.

Porto have conceded in just four of their 13 away games this term and supporting them to win to nil looks a value wager.
