Points line may still be too high for Cavs' last chance

NBA Finals Game Four betting preview

Golden State's Kevin Durant was in great form in Game Three

Golden State at Cleveland
BT Sport 1, 2.05am Friday night

There has been plenty of debate in basketball circles as to whether LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers is the greatest player of all time but his team need to stage the greatest recovery of all time if they are to win the NBA Championship.

No team in NBA history have won a seven-match series after losing the opening three matches with reigning champions Golden State on the cusp of keeping their crown after going 3-0 up.

While Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson struggled to make a huge impression in game three, Kevin Durant stepped up to the plate with a dominant 43-point performance, but it could be worth backing the Game Four points total not to eclipse the line of 215.5.

Six of the Warriors' last eight matches have gone unders and one of those matches when the target was reached was Game One, which they claimed 124-114 in overtime.

Only three of those games - the Warriors were embroiled in a seven-match affair against Houston in the Western Conference finals - reached 216 points, and while the lines have been coming steadily down over the last few matches, there is still value in the unders.

Recommendation
Under 215.5 points
1pt 10-11 general
