PAOK are overpriced for visit of struggling Benfica
Rui Vitoria may have a headache
Playoffs second legs
PAOK Salonika have been foot-perfect getting to the playoff round of the Champions League and look seriously underrated going into their second-leg tie against Benfica on Wednesday night.
The Greek Cup winners drew 1-1 in Lisbon last week, a match in which they defended resolutely against a Benfica side who were far from convincing.
Benfica also struggled to break down Sporting in the Primeira Liga on Saturday, another match that ended 1-1 despite Rui Vitoria's men doing all the pressing.
That's a third 1-1 draw in four matches following their tie in Fenerbahce in the last round.
They are struggling to break teams down and that could spell danger against PAOK, who have taken care of Basel and Spartak Moscow in this competition, winning both home legs.
Managed by Razvan Lucescu, son of Romanian legend Mircea Lucescu, PAOK have been rebuilt and boast a strong defence featuring Jose Crespo and ex-Wolfsburg left-back Vieirinha while Aleksandar Prijovic, their top-scoring striker, has carried on this season where he left off last term.
Elsewhere, Red Bull's 0-0 draw in Belgrade gives the Austrians a decent edge over Red Star though probably doesn't merit a 5-11 quote for the return in Salzburg.
PSV are shorter still at home to BATE having won 3-2 in Borisov.
