Owls could overcome problems to beat Millwall

Fleetwood worth backing at Scunthorpe

Sheffield Wednesday look a value bet

Sheffield Wednesday v Millwall
It has been a poor start to the season for Sheffield Wednesday but they look overpriced to defeat Millwall at Hillsborough.

The Owls had a lot of problems with injuries last season and are suffering again with Adam Reach, Joost Van Aken, Morgan Fox and Lucas Joao missing Sunday's 2-0 loss at Brentford.

However, key attacker Fernando Forestieri is putting an injury-ravaged campaign behind him, scoring in two of three appearances this season, and he could make the difference against a Millwall side who are generally less effective on the road.

The Lions were on the back foot for the majority of a 0-0 draw at Blackburn on their last road trip and do not appeal as favourites in south Yorkshire.

Scunthorpe Fleetwood
Scunthorpe have gone three games without a victory since winning 2-1 at Coventry on the opening weekend of the Sky Bet League One season and their poor run could continue against improving Fleetwood at Glanford Park.

The Iron lost 3-0 at Sunderland on Sunday and seem to be struggling to come to terms with the summer departure of key players.

Defenders Murray Wallace and Conor Townsend plus attackers Hakeeb Adelakun and Duane Holmes have switched to Championship clubs and it is going to be very difficult for manager Nick Daws to mould another promotion-chasing team.

Scunny may struggle to match last season's fifth place but Fleetwood have scope to improve on 14th after making improvements to their squad.

The Cod Army won 2-0 at Oxford in their opening away game and another positive result looks to be on the cards.

MOL Vidi v AEK Athens
AEK Athens had to work hard for a 3-2 aggregate victory over Celtic in the Champions League third qualifying round and their reward is an easier assignment against Hungarian champions MOL Vidi, starting with the first leg in Budapest.

Not since 2006-07 have AEK reached the Champions League group stage but they were crowned Greek champions last season and should be strong enough to take advantage of a kind draw.

In the third qualifying round MOL Vidi overcame Malmo on away goals despite losing the shot count 23 to nine.

They face a tougher challenge against AEK and may struggle to cope.
