Smith should lead the Aussie contingent
Kuala Lumpur debut was impressive
Starts 12.30am Wednesday night
Live on Sky Sports Golf from 3.30am
Cameron Smith finished fifth in the first of his two previous CIMB Classic appearances and the improving youngster looks a solid bet for top Australian honours at TPC Kuala Lumpur this week.
Smith had missed three cuts in a row prior to teeing up in the CIMB for a second time, so his share of 37th place was a decent effort when out of sorts. Expect better this week after his tie for 12th in the BMW Championship last time out. Scott Hend and Rod Pampling can be left behind.
Recommendation
C Smith top Australian
