Slugger Julian Suri may be cut down to size by the tall trees
Debutant could struggle at Wentworth
Julian Suri is making his Wentworth debut this week and the American slugger may find his lack of experience means a short visit to Surrey.
The tree-lined venue demands accuracy from the tee and Suri is better suited to more open venues where he can fully unleash his enormous power.
This year has not been a particularly productive one for Suri and he could manage only a share of 53rd place in a weak China Open last time out.
His last three starts in Britain on the Challenge Tour and European Tour have resulted in three missed cuts, and that streak could easily continue in a strong PGA field where most of the runners have competed at Wentworth before.
Recommendation
J Suri to miss the cut
