Wise can edge out Leishman to land Byron Nelson
Rookie has what it takes to win at Trinity Forest
Sky Sports Golf, 6pm Sunday
The story so far
Marc Leishman scorched the course at Trinity Forest on Thursday, the Aussie ace firing an opening 61 before following up with a Friday 66. But he has been joined at the top of the leaderboard by Aaron Wise.
PGA Tour rookie Wise followed a second-round 63 with a solid 68 on Saturday and would have wrestled the outright lead away from Leishman had he not bogeyed the 18th.
Matt Jones and Kevin Na are four shots back while Texan Brian Gay and Lone Star State resident Jimmy Walker are five behind the lead in Dallas.
Leaderboard
-17 Marc Leishman, Aaron Wise
-13 Matt Jones, Kevin Na
-12 Jimmy Walker, Brian Gay
-11 Ryan Blaum, Keith Mitchell, Kevin Tway, JJ Spaun

Final-round advice
Marc Leishman is a three-time US Tour winner and the Aussie can be expected to mount a strong challenge in the final round of the Byron Nelson.
Leishman, who won the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill and the valuable BMW Championship last season, shot the lights out in round one and is the obvious favourite in what could become a duel down the back nine with Aaron Wise.
But, at the prices, the rookie merits consideration.
Wise is no stranger to success, having won the NCAA individual title at the University of Oregon in 2016, and he's taken a ruthless streak to the PGA Tour at just 21 years of age.
He looks to be a winner in waiting having finished tied for second behind Jason Day at the Wells Fargo earlier this month and is value at the prices.
It's possible that there could be a charge from the pack but a four-shot gap to the front two will be tough to bridge if Leishman and Wise shoot low rounds and it could be the 21-year-old who picks up a first victory at the highest level.
Outright recommendation
A Wise
